Cockroach Control, Done Thoroughly

German and American cockroach control for SGV homes, apartments and restaurants. Gel baits, growth regulators and follow-up that clears them out.

Seeing one cockroach usually means there are more you are not seeing. German roaches breed in kitchens and bathrooms and ride in on deliveries and grocery bags. The big American roaches, what most people call sewer roaches or water bugs, come up from drains, crawl spaces and irrigation boxes on warm nights.

Foggers and bug bombs push roaches deeper into walls. We use gel baits, insect growth regulators and targeted treatment in the cracks and voids where they actually live, then follow up to break the breeding cycle.

Signs You Have a Problem

  • Roaches in kitchen cabinets, under sinks or behind appliances
  • Pepper-like droppings in drawers and corners
  • A musty odor in heavily infested areas
  • Big reddish roaches showing up at night near drains or garages

Our Approach

STEP 01

Inspect the harborage

We find where they are breeding: hinges, voids, motor housings, drains and the warm tight spaces roaches prefer.

STEP 02

Bait and break the cycle

Gel baits and growth regulators placed where roaches feed, so the population collapses instead of relocating.

STEP 03

Follow up

German roach jobs almost always need a follow-up visit. We schedule it up front and keep coming until they are gone.

Know The Signs

When To Call About Roaches.

  • Droppings that look like coffee grounds in drawers, hinges or behind appliances
  • A musty, oily smell in the kitchen or bathroom
  • Roaches visible in daylight — a sign the harborage is crowded
  • Egg cases tucked into cracks, cardboard or appliance motors

What shapes the price: the species (German roaches need a different program than American roaches), how established the population is, and how much harborage the kitchen offers. Apartments and shared-wall homes may need coordination to get lasting results.

Treatment is gel baits, growth regulators and targeted dusts placed where roaches actually live — and a follow-up visit is part of doing it right, not an upsell.

Know What You're Dealing With

German vs. the Bigger Roaches.

Not all cockroaches mean the same thing. Small German cockroaches breed indoors — in kitchens and bathrooms, behind appliances — and multiply fast, so they need interior baiting and a follow-up. The big ones you see in garages, drains and at night are usually American or Oriental roaches, which mostly wander in from outside, sewers and damp areas.

Telling them apart decides the treatment. A few habits cut roach pressure between visits:

  • Fix leaks and dry out under sinks, behind the fridge and around water heaters
  • Store food sealed and clean grease from stovetops and crevices
  • Cover or screen floor and garage drains where the large roaches enter
  • Seal gaps around pipes, baseboards and cabinet voids

Common Questions

Quick Answers.

I only saw one roach. Do I really have a problem?

One big American roach can be a wanderer from outside. One German roach in a kitchen is almost always a sign of more. Either way, an inspection settles it quickly and the quote is free.

How long does it take to get rid of roaches?

Most German roach infestations show a major drop within one to two weeks of baiting, with full control after a follow-up visit. Heavy infestations in multi-unit buildings take longer and work best when neighboring units are treated too.

What's the difference between the small roaches and the big ones?

Small German cockroaches breed indoors and multiply fast, so they need interior baiting and a follow-up. The large American and Oriental roaches usually come in from drains, sewers and outside, so the work focuses on sealing entry points and treating those harborages.

How long does cockroach treatment take to work?

German cockroach numbers drop noticeably within a couple of weeks of baiting, but because they breed quickly a follow-up visit is usually part of the plan. Occasional large roaches from outside are often handled in a single visit plus sealing.

Are cockroaches a sign my house is dirty?

Not necessarily. German roaches hitchhike in on boxes, groceries and used appliances, and the big ones come from sewers and damp areas no matter how clean the home is. Good sanitation helps control them, but it isn't the only cause.

Can you treat cockroaches with kids and pets at home?

Yes. I use gel baits and treatments placed in cracks, voids and stations out of reach, applied exactly to label, and I'll walk you through every placement before I leave.
