One licensed owner on every job, termites and general pests under one roof, honest pricing, and no lock-in contracts — here is exactly what that means for you.

What Makes Us Different

Straight Answers. One Accountable Person.

  • One licensed owner on every visit — never a rotating crew or a call center
  • Termites and general pests from one provider (CA SPCB Branch 2 & 3)
  • Honest, up-front pricing and free quotes — no high-pressure sales pitch
  • No lock-in contracts; maintenance only on a cadence that actually helps
  • Realistic recommendations — we'll tell you when you don't need a treatment yet
  • Low-impact products, clear re-entry guidance, and plain-language explanations
  • 12+ years working San Gabriel Valley homes and businesses

Most pest control in the San Gabriel Valley comes from national chains running route sheets: a different technician each visit, a call center between you and an answer, and a script that ends in "you need monthly service forever." ExterMetro is the opposite of that.

It is one licensed operator — Joshua — who inspects, quotes, treats and follows up himself. Because the same person sees your home every time, the advice is grounded in your property's actual history, not a quota. And because ExterMetro holds both termite (Branch 3) and general-pest (Branch 2) licensing, you get termite work and everyday pest control from a single provider.

The pitch is simple: honest pricing, free quotes with no pressure, no lock-in contracts, and a real explanation of what you're paying for. When a treatment isn't needed yet, we say so. When fumigation would be overkill, we say that too.

Common Questions

Quick Answers.

Is ExterMetro owner-operated, or a national chain?

Owner-operated. ExterMetro is one licensed person — Joshua — who personally performs every inspection and treatment. There is no rotating crew, no call center, and no franchise. The person who quotes your job is the person who does it and the person who answers when you call back.

Can one company handle both termites and general pests?

Yes — that's a core reason people choose ExterMetro. We hold both CA SPCB Branch 3 (termites and wood-destroying organisms) and Branch 2 (general pests like ants, roaches, rodents and spiders), so you get termite work and everyday pest control from one provider instead of hiring two.

Do you lock customers into a long-term contract?

No. We don't require year-long lock-in contracts. You can book a one-time treatment or an ongoing maintenance plan, and you're free to stop a plan whenever you want. The work earns the next visit, not a signature.

Do you push monthly service even when it isn't needed?

No. We give realistic recommendations based on your actual pest pressure — not a one-size 'you must do monthly forever' script. For many homes, quarterly or bi-monthly is plenty, and we'll tell you honestly when a treatment isn't needed yet.

Will I see the same technician every visit?

Yes. Because ExterMetro is one owner-operator, the same licensed person services your property every time and gets to know its history — the opposite of revolving-door technicians.

Do you offer free inspections and quotes without a sales pitch?

Yes. Quotes are free, in person or from photos you text us, with clear up-front pricing and no high-pressure pitch. You'll know what we found, what we recommend, and what it costs.

Do you offer termite treatment options other than tenting?

Yes. We are not a tent-first operation. For contained drywood activity, localized spot treatments are often enough, and subterranean termites are handled with soil treatments and baiting. We recommend whole-structure fumigation only when it's genuinely the right call — and we'll tell you when it's overkill.

Are your treatments okay around kids and pets?

We use targeted, low-impact products applied exactly to label, and we tell you up front if any re-entry time applies. Most general treatments let your family and pets back into treated areas the same day once products dry. We explain everything before we start.

Do you offer quarterly or bi-monthly recurring service?

Yes. For pests that return on a schedule in the San Gabriel Valley — ants, spiders, roaches — we offer recurring maintenance on a cadence that fits your home, typically quarterly or bi-monthly, with no lock-in contract.

Do you take time to explain what you find?

Yes. Plain-language explanations are part of the job. We walk you through what we found, why it's happening, your options, and how you can help prevent it between visits — no rushing, no jargon.
